The law firm was established by Tom Givhan upon his completion of service in WWII and Legal Education. He has practiced in Shepherdsville since then, Associate John Spainhour in 1976, Elise Spainhour in 1977 (who has since left to assume the bench in 2007) and Susan Torok in 2003.
